Parents and Community
Lindfield Public School values the high level of involvement and support from our parents and community. We encourage parents to take an active role within the school and be valued participants in their child's education. Our school is proud to continue to be an integral part of the Lindfield community, as it has been for over one hundred years.
Lindfield Public School enjoys a strong and active Parents and Citizens Association (P&C). The P&C successfully supports and enriches the quality education of our students through:
- the provision of significant funding for additional teaching resources;
- purchasing of teaching aids;
- additions and improvements to the school facilities;
- additions and improvements to the school sporting facilities;
- participation in school decision-making processes;
- promoting social gatherings; and
- supporting the needs of parents and carers.
These activities are only possible with the continued support of parents and community members. The P&C asks for an annual subscription from each family to enable the association to continue its outstanding work.
We currently have 10 energetic sub-committees supporting the P&C Executive Committee in its work.
We are always welcoming new faces to our meetings and encourage you to become involved!
